Quality Engineer

 

Job overview
Implement, support, and sustain elements of Fiberforge’s quality system through procedure generation, training, auditing, and technical support of manufacturing and research & development. The quality engineer serves as a key resource for ISO, and quality management system requirements.
 
·        Develop and ISO Compliant system including document creation & employee training on ISO.
·        Responsible for ensuring quality requirements are met for all Prototyping and Production.
·        Responsible for overseeing the risk assessment process. Interacts with the Development group and Manufacturing group to create/update FMEA/Hazard analysis.
·        Participates as the Quality representative on cross-functional development teams and supports development activities as they relate to specification development, sample sizes, and test plans
·        Support incoming material and supplier quality by determining the Quality requirements for new materials and vendor approvals, investigating non-conformances and providing supplier feedback
·        Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure effective implementation of process and inspection improvements.
·        Support manufacturing operations and provide guidance in sampling plans, statistical process control, min/max studies, and evaluation of control charts.
·        Takes the lead on returned product analysis, reporting requirements and trending.
·        Oversee the review of lot history records and final product release,
·        Perform root cause analysis, implement corrective action and performing effectiveness verification.
 
Qualifications/Education/Experience
Requires a team player with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent QA/QE manufacturing experience) in engineering or life sciences and 3–5 years experience in manufacturing. Must be able to make decisions related to product quality and compliance. Must be able to provide and implement solutions to quality problems. Requires the ability to understand the impact of ISO and AS9100 requirements. Must have effective written/oral communication skills. MS Office, Excel, Statistical software.

Industrial Automation Engineer

 

Fiberforge is a manufacturing technology company that builds high-speed, automated manufacturing systems to produce structural thermoplastic parts. We also have an engineering consulting division that performs development and part production for its customers. We are seeking to hire an Electrical/Software engineer with a focus on industrial to develop and maintain the automated equipment used in our patented thermoplastic manufacturing process.

 

Preference will be given to individuals with the following skills and background:

·        Bachelors Degree in Electrical - Software Engineering

·        Knowledge of mechanisms, computer controls and PLC’s

·        Ability to work both within a design team and independently

·        Familiarity with Beckhoff Motion controls would be a plus

·        Ability to design and maintain electrical schematics and cabinet layouts using AutoCad electrical

·       Knowledge of programming motion controllers using the IEC 61131-3 programming standard

·        Knowledge of using C# to develop and maintain HMI interfaces.

Materials and Process Engineer

 

Fiberforge is seeking to hire materials and process engineers to work on advancing both our core advanced composite thermoforming technology and related support processes. The position will include considerable hands-on work, close involvement with product development activities, and some basic research and development work.

 

Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Masters Degree in Materials and Process Engineering (Bachelors degrees acceptable)
  • 5 years experience in composite materials and process development
  • Experience working with thermoplastic advanced composites
  • Direct experience solving customer problems
  • Excellent creative-thinking and problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to function well in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Hands-on skills
  • Capable in SolidWorks and LabView

Electrical Engineer

Come work with a leading edge technology company in Colorado's beautiful Roaring Fork Valley. Fiberforge is seeking to hire an outstanding team member to  design, develop, and maintain the complex automated equipment used in our patented manufacturing process.  Some travel may be required.

 
The ideal candidate would have the following:
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years experience in control system design for automated industrial machinery
  • Experience with servo mechanisms, computer controls and PLC’s
  • Familiarity with electro-mechanical devices such as motors, controls, etc.
  • Ability to work both within a design team and independently
  •  Familiarity with Beckhoff Motion controls or other motion controller
  • Ability to design and maintain electrical schematics and cabinet layouts using AutoCad electrical

VP Marketing & Sales

 

Work with CEO & CTO to develop and implement strategic licensing, joint development, and partnership relationships with customers. Initiate, manage, and close profitable programs with key customers. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies. Manage in-house sales team and coordinate efforts with external sales representatives. Monitor and analyze sales activity against goals.   The individual in this role must be highly adaptable, with excellent critical thinking abilities and posses a strong sense of urgency. The individual must be comfortable being accountable for revenue growth.
