GLENWOOD SPRINGS, CO – September 9, 2009 - Fiberforge Corporation announced today that it has successfully completed a joint development project with Marquez, a Canadian aerospace company and is now in full production of an interior window bezel to be utilized as a crucial component in a retrofit project for the Bombardier Challenger aircraft.

Bombardier is the third largest civil aircraft manufacture and a worldwide leader in aerospace and rail transportation and present in more than 60 countries.

Marquez Transtech ltd is a corporation engaged in design, development and manufacturing of thermoformed and composite parts in the fields of aerospace, transportation equipment and industrial product.  www.marquez.ca

The thermoformed window bezel is the main structural component of a window frame assembly and therefore an integral component to the success of the retrofit project.

The Fiberforge manufacturing process is able to take advantage of long unidirectional fiber to provide a light yet very stiff and structural part that is critical to this application in maintaining a hermetic seal as the part cycles through a wide temperature range.  The Fiberforge manufacturing process limits the amount of material waste while providing a part that has the performance and dimensional precision commonly associated with an automated manufacturing process.
